Another fun weekend that I want to recap before I forget the small details, because those are the fun ones.
Left Friday afternoon for the Albany area with keith hannon and chad with stories of keith's driving tales from John Cook (not the golfer). Rode in the back as Keith got us to the Red Carpet Inn. What a dump. Our window was all taped up and looked like it played a part in a murder scene. Keith's friend Josh was with us, he showed up drinking a High Life. Then we went to the gateway diner, with CO, Kelli, Josh. Got a tanqueray and tonic with cheeseburger. Chad and josh contemplated stealing a bottle from the bar but decided against because patrons and workers would have stabbed them if they took it.
Went to Price Chopper to get some beer and were called dorks by some ugly, fat, young mothers, it was pretty interesting. Bought a thirty pack of busch. got back to the Red carpet after almost bottoming out the car going the back way in. Cook and Josh made some calls and we had some visitors. that was a fun time.
Then Keith told the best story I've ever heard and was shell-shocked by it the entire night, just awesome.
We left soon after getting told that we were loud for the second time even though they only came to the room once. Walked across the albany campus to some karaoke bar named maggies. it was a fucking cold walk.
Got to maggies which was kind of a strange place. No one from our crew got to sing, much to the chargrin of josh as he tried to pick a fight with one of the bouncers. That was kinda stupid but not as much as the empty cans of beer under the table where we were sitting. Before we left we cleaned the place out of six pint glasses.
The walk back was pretty funny, kids swinging sticks and yelling into dorm rooms. Jesse calling to inform us that he got his sideview mirror kicked in by brian bennett and then to say that novak got his kicked in too. Now the hit on bennett is on, nobody likes him.
